PermaFROST was formed in 1994 by Darryl Saunders and now John Ladue, who worked with Darryl for seven years, has now taken over the operations.  John has a university degree in mechanical engineering and has many years experience in electrical/electronic control systems.  PermaFROST provides competent refrigeration and air-conditioning services to the ever growing charter yacht fleet.

The company provides prompt and professional repairs and installations on pleasure and commercial vessels utilizing the island of Sint Maarten/Saint Martin as port of call.

Our work tender allows fast, efficient shop to dock service to all the marinas in the vicinity.

Our qualified staff tailors our operation to suit the brief turnaround times required in the Caribbean Winter Season and are always ready with suggestions for improving equipment reliability and efficiency.

Stocks are kept of European and U.S. replacement parts.

We also maintain close contacts with suppliers in the

United States and Europe.

Sint Maarten’s custom-free status enables prompt receipt of parts shipments.

Low season projects include development and testing work on

efficient low voltage freezers and refrigerators for tropical installations.
